Anna Leander!

Anna Leander is the mother of Lukas and Laura. At the age of 28 years, just as Laura was five years old, she was the victim of a tragic accident on the trip from City High Ravenstein after she suddenly saw two large black dogs, that seemed like they appeared out of nowhere in front of their car whose result was to lose control of the car and land in a lake. Anna drowned, but Laura, who also sat in the car, was rescued at the last minute. Unlike Lukas, who still was too small when Anna died, Laura can remember her mother.

Anna was a beautiful and lovable woman who was universally popular for her gentleness, her everlasting and constant helpfulness and cheerfulness. Laura can still almost see how Anna played with her and Lukas, told them stories or fairy tales and fables vorlas.
